At Surval Summer Camp, girls enjoy a rich and carefully planned programme of activities and travel. Every experience is designed to keep them active, engaged and inspired, while helping them build confidence, friendships and independence.
Activities are varied and age appropriate, with a balance of outdoor adventure, sports, creativity and cultural discovery. Girls are encouraged to try new things, enjoy shared experiences and celebrate personal achievement.
Surval’s location above Montreux allows girls to make the most of Switzerland’s natural beauty. Outdoor activities are an important part of daily life at camp and help girls stay active while enjoying fresh air and spectacular scenery. Outdoor experiences may include:
- Hiking and walking in the Alps
- Forest exploration and nature activities
- Swimming and water-based activities
- Paddleboarding and lakeside fun on Lake Geneva
- Team challenges and outdoor games
These activities promote resilience, teamwork and confidence in a supportive environment.
Sports, fitness and movement
Girls take part in a wide range of sports and physical activities, designed to be inclusive, enjoyable and confidence building. There is no pressure to compete, and all abilities are welcomed. Sports and fitness activities may include:
- Tennis
- Dance and movement sessions
- Fitness training and group workouts
- Yoga and stretching
- Team sports and group games
The focus is on enjoyment, participation and developing a healthy, active lifestyle.
Creative and practical activities
Alongside physical activities, girls enjoy creative and hands-on sessions that allow them to express themselves, relax and try something new. Creative and practical activities may include:
- Art and craft workshops
- Music and performance activities
- Drama and creative expression
- Cooking and baking sessions
- Themed workshops and enrichment activities
These sessions are often highlights for campers and help build confidence, creativity and collaboration.

Cultural trips and Swiss discovery
Travel and exploration are central to the Surval Summer Camp experience. Girls take part in regular excursions that allow them to discover Switzerland and experience European culture first-hand. Trips may include:

- Lakeside villages and promenades
- Mountain villages and scenic locations
- Cultural landmarks, museums and historical sites
- Local exploration in and around Montreux
