At Surval Montreux, we believe that some of the most valuable learning experiences take place beyond the classroom. Thanks to our central location in Switzerland, students have the opportunity to explore Europe, immerse themselves in new cultures, and gain a deeper understanding of the world around them.
This weekend, a group of Surval girls and teachers travelled to Croatia for an enriching cultural adventure. The trip combined history, nature, and local traditions, allowing students to experience firsthand the unique character of this beautiful Mediterranean country.
The group explored the historic towns of Split and Trogir, both renowned for their rich heritage and stunning architecture. Guided tours provided fascinating insights into the region's history, helping students connect classroom learning with real-world experiences. The girls also visited the breathtaking Krka National Park, where they enjoyed Croatia’s spectacular natural landscapes and learned more about the importance of preserving these unique environments.
A highlight of the trip for many students was the opportunity to discover Croatian culture through its local cuisine, traditions, and daily life. From tasting regional dishes to exploring local shops and landmarks, every experience contributed to a greater appreciation of the country's heritage.

"My favourite part was our guided tour of Split. I really enjoyed learning more about the town and its history."

Experiences such as these are an integral part of a Surval education.
